FUMCHYouth

Welcome to the website of First United Methodist Church of Heath Youth (FUMCHY). This website is being updated so that it will be more useful for the youth, parents, volunteers, and anyone interested in our youth program. I am happy to say that our youth group is very active and continues to grow, not only in number but in relationship with our savior, Jesus Christ, and with one another. The youth group at FUMCH is an accepting group of young people who share a love for and an interest in learning more about God, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Currently our Bible Studies are based on the theme, You've Got Questions, He's Got Answers. As we have tackled tough topics such as which religion is right, homosexuality, and many others we have discovered that we don't have all the answers but God does.

Even though our bible studies are fun, we also are involved with mission. Events the youth have participated in include Yam Jam, Mission Trips to Juarez, Mexico and The Appalachian region of the U.S. This past Summer's Mission Trip was to Templed Hills Camp in Colorado.

It's not all work for the youth!! They enjoy retreats, sporting events, bowling, whirlyball, broomball, movies, paintball and many other exciting and fun activities.

The Youth usually meet each Sunday evening with the Jr. High Bible Study at 5:00 and Sr. High Bible Study at 6:30. The two groups combine and enjoy fellowship and dinner together at 6:00. From time to time our Sunday event will be a fun outing and the schedule will change.
